About SCCERT
|
| The
Sonoma County CERT Association includes agency coordinators and CERT representatives
from several communities throughout Sonoma County, and representatives from
the County of Sonoma and the Sonoma & Mendocino Counties chapter of
the American Red Cross. The SCCERT Association grew out of the need to better
coordinate training and communications with CERT teams throughout the county.
The SCCERT Association will be coordinating CERT programs throughout the county, through the agency coordinators, and producing advanced training classes and events for CERT members, as well as leadership training to better enable CERT members to interact with, as well as manage and motivate, CERT teammates and civilians. The SCCERT Association will develop tools to assist those other Sonoma County communities and agencies who want to get a CERT program started in their area.
